Huge beer and liquor selection. If they don't have it, they'll order it for you.
This Canal's sucks for beer buyers. Never heard of some of my faves. Not convenient to get what you want. Six packs only, and it's murder to figure out what a case costs, requiring you to stand in line and ask. Why don't they post case prices? This is a problem all over NJ. I hated PA's repressive beer restrictions when I lived there, but now I see it's worse for the case buyer in NJ, since stores don't like to sell full cases and make it difficult for case buyers to know their costs.
They have a decent selection of Wine for a small store and some of the sales people are knowledgeable and helpful. The counter help needs to pay more attention to the customer and less to each other during check out. Prices are competitive. Craft beer selection is pretty good.
Great place to get some spirits. I especially like the discount section in the back of the store. You could really get a lot of great deals at this store.
