He is one of a kind.
The only reason I no longer see Dr Bell, is because I retired to FL in late 2010.
Dr. Jaquelin Bell is the best as far as cats go. She actually owns them and knows the struggle it can be at times such as administering medication and such. Very good veterinarian establishment.
I have always loved Evesham Vet clinic and have recommended them to many friends. Unfortunately, I feel that the clinic is on the decline. Where as the techs and vets used to be warm and caring (my dog is extremely nervous, especially around men)--employees would stop over and give her a small treat; sit on the ground and try to make her comfortable with the office prior to taking bloodwork or temperature. The new employees don't exhibit the same characteristics. Most recently, I brought my dog in for a sick visit--she has been waking up yelping in pain every night for the last 2 weeks. The (new) vet came in and I informed him that she was extremely nervous around men. He did not make any effort to warm my dog up to him, nor did he ask me for any additional information (simply repeated back what I had told the tech). He drug her over to him by her leash, and then started pushing on her spine and pulling on her hind quarters. After a quick 2 minute "exam", he told me it was most likely muscle spasms in the middle of the night, and gave her muscle relaxers. There was no time for questions; no blood work ordered... no follow up measures recommended. Just 21 muscle relaxers. While the $55 office visit fee is reasonable, I left my last appointment agitated, and not confident that we got to the root cause of the issue. If you go here, I would recommend going to Charles or Jaclyn Bell--the "bed side manner" seems to be missing from the newer crowd.
We just moved to the area and needed a new Vet. First impression walking in was the lack of cleanliness and disorganized front staff. Everyone was talking to different patients at the same time. The vet techs were very nice and handled our dog with care. Then when we met Dr Moreno, we were not impressed. Being that it was our first visit at the facility, we were not happy because it seemed like the Dr was rushing us and didn't ask us about our dogs history and why he was on some medications. We got the notes after the visit and the chart notes lack detailed information. We will continue searching for a new vet.
I met Dr Bell when he first worked for Dr Allen in Twp. I moved to Marlton about the time Dr bell opened Evesham Vet Clinic and came in with my first cat (1977). After I moved to Collingswood, I still traversed the crazy roads to Evesham Vet Clinic.
I have given this vet so many chances. Im officially done with them. They are not thorough at all. It took a trip to red bank animal hospital to get correct diagnosis. Evesham vet just patted back and said everythinf looks fine just a sore leg gavr pain meds and muscle relaxants and sent us home. A day later my poor dog couls not walk and was practically crawling just to go tp the bathroom. Evesham vet is the worst the only good vet they had was dr T but hes no longer with them..he wised up i guess and went elsewhere. So will we
I continued to be a client with many cats over many years. He is kind, compassionate and caring on many fronts. Without a doubt, the very best Veterinarian in South Jersey.
