I disagree with the previous comment. While searching for a pediatrician for my daughter I found the staff at Atrium Pediatrics to be the best. I saw Dr Rosenblum. He took his time and answered all of my questions. The staff was VERY helpful in my decision to choose this office when we moved. Also when I have called in with questions the phone gets answered immediately and my questions are always answered in a timely manner. The entire staff is awesome. I would recommend everyone to Atrium Pediatrics.
Every time we go here, we have to wait an hour in the waiting room, and another 45 minutes before someone actually sees our child. It's ridiculous and horrible for the children who are freaking out by the time the doctor comes in. It's clear that Atrium greedily overbooks patients and has no concern for their time. They'd rather make as much money as they can rather than worry about the wellbeing of the families that have to come in and wait nearly two hours to see someone. When I called to ask whether they could do anything about this, the staff just laughed and said I was free to find another practice.
Love the pediatricians here. We've only had a few long waits but seem to be because they're taking care of sick children rather than staffing issues. Dr. Elfont is amazing (but always booked months out!)
We have been taking our children 7 and 3 there since birth. While some of the doctors are good, the wait continues to be a problem. For a well visit I waited for over 45 minutes to get into a Room. I was told after waiting for 45 minutes that the doctor was running late. How about telling clients that from the get go. Then waiting for another 30 minutes in the room.
I agree with many of the comments posted here. My wife and I always had a pleasant experience with the doctors, but the long waits and office staff do get to you after a while. Especially when you are trying to entertain a baby or toddler for 30 or more minutes past your appointment time. It's an appointment for a reason right?!? What finally made us switch was an egregious overcharge. We received a bill from the office for a large amount of money after a well-baby check up. Our insurance, which is very good, does not require a co-pay for well-baby check ups and covers everything. When I called them they told us that the office had charged for a surgical procedure, in addition to the check-up, which required a very high co-pay. This surgical procedure never occurred. When I disputed the charge and talked to the office manager, suggesting that they maybe submitted the wrong code, she was unwilling to even listen. I even read her the definition of the procedure which she submitted to the insurance company, which never occurred! When I told her that we would no longer be going to their practice, she could have cared less. Apparently there are plenty of other people/customers who tolerate her nonsense. As Malcolm and Kelly asked, "Who do you really want to be great?" My answer is, "Everyone." We've lived all over the country and there are much better practices than this... and some are right here in south Jersey.
